We are so proud of our work at Scribbles! We like trying our best and being creative in a whole range of activities!

We like helping each other and working together, because making things with our friends is fun! Scribbles offers a wide range of opportunities to try new things, from decorating fashionable clothes to making bird boxes, from baking birthday cakes to recycling, from learning about and trying out types of art to building snowmen!

Our daughter has been attending Scribbles for a year now and absolutely loves it! The staff incredibly caring and passionate about the development and wellbeing of the children. There are daily activities organised for the children like crafts, painting and games to help with physical development. My daughter runs into the nursery in the mornings and has really thrived in this setting. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about Scribbles as the nursery for their little ones!

[Our child] has been at Scribbles nursery for just under a year. There was no doubt in my mind that it was the perfect decision to enroll her at scribbles. She has made amazing friendships and speaks fondly of her classmates. Since she’s been at Scribbles her speech and development has improved so much! Our daughter has settled back fantastically since nursery started again at the beginning of June. The lovely staff at Scribbles offered that we drive by to see them the day before nursery started and [she] was very excited and happy to see her key worker – since then every day has been a joy bringing her there, and we have seen a huge positive impact in her mood and behaviour from her attending, to the point where we’ve extended her from 3 to 5 days per week. [Our second daughter] has had a fantastic time since starting nursery again at Scribbles – she comes back very happy every day, talks about the people she’s seen and clearly misses them during the weekend. The staff are lovely and very helpful and we’re very happy that our children attend nursery there.

We are so pleased we chose Scribbles for our little boy. From day one the team have helped him settle and build a bond with his room leaders, he continues to have fun, learn new things (including French!), grow in confidence with his friends and the staff. The outdoor excursions and Christmas visit to Santa are also great! We love Scribbles!

Scribbles Nursery has been brilliant in their approach to opening in lockdown. My son is loving being back and we are very happy and reassured that the nursery has made environment as safe as possible, whilst also being fun for the kids. They provided very clear guidance on what they would be doing to keep the children safe and also what was expected of us. The care that our son gets is outstanding and we have a very happy little boy who loves going in each day.

Our daughter loves being back at Scribbles. She ran into the building without looking back on her first day! Voula, Trina and the rest of the team take such amazing care of her and organise engaging and educational activities. Scribbles has put such thought into managing coronavirus in a way that protects the children and staff and maintains a nurturing, positive environment. We are deeply grateful for everything Scribbles has done for our children. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

Both our daughters have attended Scribbles from one year olds up until school and over this period the team at Scribbles have become like family to us and we’ll be very sad to say goodbye. We’ve always felt that the girls were safe, well cared for and loved there and they in turn have always been happy to be there. We have been thoroughly impressed with the care our girls have received at Scribbles. They have been continuously learning and having fun along the way. Both girls have formed friendships that they will take into primary school, which we think is a huge help when making that transition. The wrap around care they provide for Martin Nursery attendance was very helpful.

We also would like to highlight the brilliant work of all the staff at Scribbles who make for such a happy and nurturing environment. They all seem to strike a good balance of discipline and fun whilst being genuinely committed to doing a good job. The girls often come home delighted to tell us about experiments they’ve been doing or fun things they’ve been doing in the garden, and of course Janet's lovely food (meatballs and pineapple cake are two of their favourites!) And they celebrate a wide range of festivities throughout the year which the girls love learning about and getting involved in. We were all very grateful when Scribbles were able to reopen after the COVID lockdown. The girls had really missed the staff, their friends and the learning activities that we struggled to replicate at home. The work that has been done to make Scribbles covid safe is ample in our view which gave us the confidence to send our girls back in as soon as restrictions eased.
